Middle Class πολυ μπροστα. Οι διαμαχες για το ποιοι παιξανε 1οι σε hardcore ρυθμους (Bad brains or Middle Class) ειναι αεναες αλλα στην πουτσα μας λουλουλουδια (νερντ σταφ). Εγω λεω μιδδλε κλας παντως. Παιζανε σε hardcore ρυθμους το 76-78 και οταν το hardcore punk ανθισε το 80 το χανε γυρισει σε post-punk, alternative rock κλπ. Μπροστα απο την εποχη τους συνεχως. Επισης κυρια επιρροη των black Flag. Λατρευω την πρωτογονιλα.

60's ,beat επιρροές( πως να μην είχαν άλλωστε αφού τα βασικά μέλη κυρίως ποιητές ήταν παρά μουσικοί..),λίγος χιπισμός,βαρεμάρα μάλλον για την καθιερωμένη τότε απολιτική και ακίνδυνη ψυχεδέλεια .. ίσως δεν ταιριάζει στο θρέντ ούτε καν σαν προτοπάνκ.... σε αυτήν την περίπτωση είναι τελείως μόνοι ...αν και με κάποιον τρόπο σίγουρα επηρέασαν ..με τον ίδιο τρόπο που το έκαναν οι velvet η ο iggy ίσως ..

Psychedelic rock φαση δλδ ροκ χιπισμος, αποφραδα εποχη imo. To μισος μεταξυ πανκιδων και χιπιδων ειναι παροιμιωδες, καθοτι ο χιπισμος ηταν το mainstream της εποχης late 70s. Yπαρχει σχεση με το πανκ μουσικα ισως οχι τοσο εμφανης γιατι λειπει το ενδιαμεσο σταδιο. Η garage δλδ που συνεδεσε Psychedelic rock με προτοπανκ(στο πρωτο τουλαχιστον). Οριστε το ενδιαμεσο σημειο. Sonics αγαπημενη μπαντα.
