Εδω και μερες τον εχω ετοιμο βασικα, απλως δεν το ειχα βγαλει εδω περα. :p

Αυτο ειναι απο τα release notes του fedora 7.

Notes About Fedora 7

With Fedora 7 coming out later in the week there are a few notes to pass along. AMD has no intention of delivering an updated R200 class fglrx driver. What this means is that if you are using an R200 GPU (anything less than or equal to the ATI Radeon 9250) will NOT work with any version of the fglrx driver and Fedora 7. You must use the open-source Radeon driver, there is no way around that.

If you're going to be immediately upgrading to Fedora 7 and are using an R300/400/500 GPU with the fglrx driver, you may want to wait. I have the Fedora packaging scripts working for Fedora 7 (as has been the case now for the past few months), but using Fedora 7 R2 there's problems with aticonfig and other issues inside of the fglrx binary blob. Since the issues seem to stem from the closed-source portion of the binary driver, the earliest we may see functioning drivers is 8.38 in June (not in the 8.37 driver).

Αν υπαρχει ακομα κανενας που να εχει Fedora + ATi εχω γραψει νεες οδηγιες για το πως να εχεις compiz/beryl με αυτες. Οδηγιες εδω: Howto for fglrx (Ati driver) , XGL and Compiz / Beryl

Δεν το εχω δοκιμασει προσωπικα, αλλα απ'οτι λενε δουλευει. Tongue

Παρεπιπτοντως αν καποιος εχει γραψει tutorials που θα μπορουσαν να δημοσιευτουν στο site και θελει να τα δημοσιευσω ας μου στειλει pm.

How to install RipIt4Me, DVDShrink and DVDDecrypter in Linux

Με την τελευταια εκδοση του wine και μερικες ρυθμισεις τα παραπανω προγραμματα παιζουν μια χαρα στο Linux (οκ τουλαχιστον στο Fedora που το δοκιμασα). 8)

Αν το δοκιμασει κανεις αλλος σε διανομη εκτους του Fedora 7 ας κανει ενα post εδω να μου πει αν δουλευει η οχι.

Αν αξιωθώ και το δοκιμάσω στο debian που έχω θα γράψω προβλήματα ή στην καλύτερη περίπτωση αποτελέσματα.
