Για οσους δεν ξερουν το qemu σου επιτρεπει να εγκαταστησεις εικονικα ενα λειτουργικο πανω σε ενα αλλο χωρις να πειραχτει καθολου το τελευταιο. Παραπανω εξηγω πως μπορει καποιος να εγκαταστησει καποια διανομη Linux, το Fedora Core 6 εν προκειμενω, πανω στα Windows. Ετσι μπορει να τρεχει τα Windows και το Linux σε ενα παραθυρο συγχρονως! Το fedora είναι πολύ ωραίο. Φαίνεται πολύ πιο πλήρες από το kubuntu.. Το ζητούμενο... είναι ακριβώς αυτό! Έχει πάρα πάρα πολλά προγράμματα μέσα... που ψιλιάζομαι ότι δε θα τα χρησιμοποιήσω ποτέ! Το ζήτημα είναι πως... δε ξέρω ποια να κρατήσω και ποια να στείλω :( Λίγα πράγματα για τον guide.. 1) Δε μπόρεσα να περάσω τα True Type Fonts με τον τρόπο που είπες. Τα βρήκα και τα κατέβασα από το site που έδωσες... Μετά είχα κάτι άλλα προβλήματα (δε βαριέσαι). 2) Το audacity αρνείται πεισματικά να παίξει mp3 παρόλο που κοπανάω τις εντολές που είπες. :P Γενικά όμως... το amarok φαίνεται καλύτερο... όπου επίσης ψάχνω πώς θα παίξω τα mp3... Anyway... fedora rocks ! :) υ.γ. Το σπαστικο δεν ειναι οτι δεν ξερεις τι κανουν ομως. Το σπαστικο ειναι πως αμα μαθεις τι κανουν και θες να τα βγαλεις πολλα απο αυτα ερχονται μεσα σε ενα μεγαλο πακετο. Οποτε πρεπει να βγαλεις και αλλα προγραμματα που χρειαζεσαι.. Ελπιζω στις επομενες εκδοσεις να σπασουν τα πακετα.
Τωρα για τις γραμματοσειρες μπορεις να κανεις και το αλλο. Να αντιγραψεις τον φακελο fonts απο τα Windows στο Linux. Μετα πηγαινεις στο Control Center - > System Administration -> Fonts Installer και περνας οποια fonts θελεις. Btw θα αλλαξω τον οδηγο και θα βαλω αυτον τον τροπο. Κανε μου απλως ενα reply αμα σου δουλεψει ετσι. Restart τον X για να ειμαστε σιγουροι. Τωρα για τα mp3. Αυτα που προσπαθεις να παιξεις ειναι στον ιδιο υπολογιστη η θες να τα παιξεις μεσω δικτυου? Αυτα ειναι τα πακετα του audacious που εχω εγκατεστημενα και σιγουρα παιζουν mp3. Δωσε και συ την ιδια εντολη και αν σου λειπει κατι εγκατεστησε το. Κανε μου reply για να διορθωσω και τον οδηγο αμα δεν εγκαθισταται αυτοματα καποιο πακετο. Και μιας και το θυμηθηκα Juan, κανε sudo yum install yum-presto. Ειναι ενα plugin για το yum που σου επιτρεπει να κατεβαζεις μονο το μερος του rpm που εχει γινει update. Αυτο ειναι απο τα release notes του fedora 7. Notes About Fedora 7 With Fedora 7 coming out later in the week there are a few notes to pass along. AMD has no intention of delivering an updated R200 class fglrx driver. What this means is that if you are using an R200 GPU (anything less than or equal to the ATI Radeon 9250) will NOT work with any version of the fglrx driver and Fedora 7. You must use the open-source Radeon driver, there is no way around that. If you're going to be immediately upgrading to Fedora 7 and are using an R300/400/500 GPU with the fglrx driver, you may want to wait. I have the Fedora packaging scripts working for Fedora 7 (as has been the case now for the past few months), but using Fedora 7 R2 there's problems with aticonfig and other issues inside of the fglrx binary blob. Since the issues seem to stem from the closed-source portion of the binary driver, the earliest we may see functioning drivers is 8.38 in June (not in the 8.37 driver). Παρεπιπτόντως, μιας και δεν ασχολούμαι με αυτο το ξεπερασμένο λειτουργικό ("παραθύρια") πώς την κρύβεις την taskbar? Τσέκαρα μέσα από τα options Hide taskbar αλλά την ξαναεμφανίζει μόλις ο δείκτης πάει τέρμα κάτω στην οθόνη. Χεχε ;) Ετσι την κρυβω και γω. Δεν μπορει να φυγει εντελως. Edit: Δοκιμασα να παιξω ενα mp3, αλλα δεν γινεται τιποτα. Θελει δουλεια ακομα μαλλον. Η 2 beta ειναι η εκδοση του amarok που εγκαθισταται. Ισως φταιει και το οτι τα Windows ειναι σε VirtualBox, αλλα απο την αλλη δεν ειδα και καμια μπαρα που να δειχνει την αναπαραγωγη να αυξανεται η κατι τετοιο. Στα contacts δεν συγχρονίζει όλα τα fields. Άμα συγχρόνιζε σωστά τα τηλέφωνα και τα γενέθλια θα ήμουν ευχαριστημένος. Λίγη Qt και C++ θέλει για να διορθωθεί. Του έριξα μια γρήγορη ματιά, αλλά με μπέρδεψε η Qt με τα QDateTime και QString. Έχω να παρατηρήσω ότι βασίζεσαι πολύ στο internet, προφανώς έχεις αρκετά δωρεάν mb... :P Γι'αυτό το λόγο έχω να προτείνω το 3G Watchdog (http://www.appbrain.com/app/net.rgruet.android.g3watchdog), που είναι ένας πολύ ωραίος μετρητής δεδομένων και τον ρυθμίζεις ανάλογα με το πρόγραμμά σου. Επίσης, Apps Organizer (http://www.appbrain.com/app/com.google.code.appsorganizer). Οργανώνεις τις εφαρμογές σου με labels και μπορείς να τις βάλεις σαν φακέλους στη homescreen. Από file managers χρησιμοποιώ τον Astro (http://www.appbrain.com/app/com.metago.astro) και δεν έχω παράπονο. Handcent SMS (http://www.appbrain.com/app/com.handcent.nextsms), μπορείς και γράφεις μηνύματα σε ελληνικά με 160χαρακτήρες/sms χωρίς να χρειάζεται να βλέπεις το αντιαισθητικό "κεφαλαία με τόνους". Έχει και δυνατότητα για pop up αν το θέλεις. mVideoPlayer (http://www.appbrain.com/app/afzkl.development.mVideoPlayer) για να βλέπεις βίντεο (.mp4) με υπότιτλους srt, rockplayer για να βλέπεις avi με υπότιτλους. Το 3G watchdog το χρησιμοποιώ, το έχω πρώτο πρώτο στη λίστα με τα apps για το Internet. Τον Opera mini τον είχα στη λίστα. Που στο καλό τον έχασα?? Επίσης μου αρέσει σε αυτόν πως κρατάει σε cache τις προηγούμενες σελίδες και δε χρειάζεται να τις φορτώσει από την αρχή όπως ο default browser. Θέλω να δοκιμάσω πάντως και τον DolphinHD κάποια στιγμη. To Handcent SMS το έβαλα εδώ και μερικές μέρες ακριβώς για το λόγο με τα κεφαλαία ώστε να δουλεύει σωστά και η πρόβλεψη λέξεων. Θα το προσθέσω στη λίστα. Τις άλλες εφαρμογές που λες τις έχει πάρει το μάτι μου, αλλά δεν τις έχω δοκιμάσει ως τώρα. Πρώτον, γιατί η αναζήτηση που κάνει είναι T9 και δεύτερον παρόλο που έχει επιλογή για ελληνικά δεν ξέρω τι θα γίνει αν αλλάξεις τη γλώσσα του μενού σε αγγλικά.
