μα δεν ξεχνώ του κορμιού της τα κύματα
Την είδα πάλι στις όχθες του Βόλγα   
που ένας στρατιώτης τη φώναξε Όλγα
Κάτι  ψιθύρισε μέσα στο κρύο     
που τότε μου ’χε  φανεί τόσο αστείο
 
Αν θα μπορούσα τον κόσμο να άλλαζα   
θα ξαναέβαφα γαλάζια τη θάλασσα
Κάτι αν μπορούσα στον κόσμο να άλλαζα

Στο Πάλος νύχτα τ' όνομά της αφήνει
γραμμένο κάπου στου Κολόμβου την πρύμνη
Τότε που οι Ισπανοί ξεκινούσαν 
και για μια  άγνωστη  μοίρα  μεθούσαν
Βρέθηκε κάποια στιγμή στη Γαλλία 
πρώτη του Μάη σε μια άδεια πλατεία
Σε λίγο οι φοιτητές θα ξεσπούσαν
και μια αλλιώτικη ζωή  θα  ζητούσαν
