Perrett et al. found that masculine adult face averages were perceived as untrustworthy. Now we are looking at how trustworthiness is perceived in older and younger faces that have been made more masculine or feminine.
On average, people chose the more feminine face for 66% of the images. You chose the more feminine face for 100% of the images.

In this experiment, you saw faces that differed in either health of appearance or femininity. We recorded how many times you chose the healthier or more feminine face from each pair.
On average, people had a 58% preference strength for the more feminine images. You had a 82% preference strength.

We are looking at how exaggerating those traits to extreme levels (making ‘hyper-feminine’ and ‘hyper-masculine’ faces) affects attractiveness judgments.

Φαίνεται ότι μου αρέσουν τα αγοράκια που μοιάζουν με κοριτσάκια...

Παρόλα αυτά, δε μου άρεσε το πείραμα. Καταρχήν έκανε πολύ μπαμ το φτιαχτό. Κατά δεύτερον, έπαιζε πολύ με τα φρίδια, τα μάτια και τις γωνίες του προσώπου. Θεωρώ ότι η επιλογή feminine men οφείλεται περισσότερο στο ότι στους άνδρες.. "φτιάχνουν" τα μάτια να φαίνονται καλύτερα.. οπότε αρκετοί από αυτούς ήταν καλύτεροι

Τώρα για τις γυναίκες.. πραγματικά αναρωτιέμαι πώς είναι δυνατόν να διαλέξεις την ανδρική εκδοχή τους.. ήταν όλες φτιαχτές και άθλιες..
