Μήπως ξέρετε πως μπορώ να αφαιρέσω εκείνα τα σπαστικά 3 δευτερόλεπτα σιωπής στο τέλος των wav αρχείων μέσα από λίνουξ, ούτως ώστε όταν τα μετατρέψω σε mp3 να μην τα περιέχουν? Έχω κυριολεκτικά σπαστεί γιατί αυτήν την δουλειά δεν την κάνει ούτε το cdda2wav ούτε το cdex. Θα μου πει κανείς: Σιγά μωρέ, τι σε πειράζουν τόσο πολύ? Απλά πιάνουν τζάπα χώρο στον σκληρό και εάν κάνω κανένα πάρτυ στο σπίτι, δεν λέει τρία δευτερόλεπτα να επικρατεί σιωπή.

Από Windows ξέρω τι παίζει, αλλά το θέμα είναι πως θέλω να κάνω αυτήν την δουλειά και στο λίνουξ. Δεν έχεις τίποτα άλλο να μου προτείνεις?

Ελπίζω να πήρες μια ιδέα φίλε chggr005. Εννοείται ότι δουλεύει για mp3s, όχι για wavs. Με ένα σκριπτάκι κάνεις τη δουλειά σου έυκολα και γρήγορα.

Σωστός! Thanks! Αυτό όμως δεν προϋποθέτει ότι θα πρέπει να ξέρω από πριν πόσα είναι τα δευτερόλεπτα σιωπής? Και το πόσα bytes θα αφαιρέσω, δεν εξαρτάται επίσης από την κωδικοποίηση που έχω κάνει πχ 128, 160 κτλ? Μάλλον υποθέτω πως θα πρέπει να κάνω δοκιμές μέχρι να πάρω αυτό που θέλω!

Εξαίρετο πρόγραμμα για να βλέπεις τι κόβεις και γενικά το φάσμα του ήχου σου...

gfloros έχεις δίκιο, σε καμμιά περίπτωση δεν εννοούσα πως δεν υπάρχουν εφαρμογές για επεξεργασία ήχου, η λύση του script είναι μια λύση "μπακαλίστικη". Προτείνω με τη σειρά μου το http://audacity.sourceforge.net/, απλό και εύχρηστο πρόγραμμα για να κόψεις/ράψεις, και το http://ardour.org/, για εξομοιωτή κοσόλας studio. Φαντάζομαι ο chggr005 έχει ήδη λύσει το πρόβλημα του από windows  Smiley

Ωραίες οι προτάσεις που μου κάνατε και σας ευχαριστώ πολύ! Το θέμα όμως είναι ότι με το audacity και όλα τα άλλα προγράμματα που μου προτείνατε πρέπει "κοψω-ράψω" κάθε τραγούδι ξεχωριστά. Όταν όμως ριπάρεις ένα ολόκληρο CD, αυτή  η δουλειά είναι αρκετά κουραστική. Στα Windows υπάρχουν για παράδειγμα προγράμματα που κόβουν την σιωπή στο τέλος κάθε τραγουδιού όταν το ριπάρουν και πριν το μετατρέψουν σε μορφή mp3. Γιατί να μην υπάρχει κάτι τέτοιο και στο Linux?

Παιδιά από Linux δεν ξέρω ακόμα πολλά πολλά, αλλά μάλλον στο shell θα υπάρχει κάτι αντίστοιχο με την εντολή for των DOS. Οι πιο ψαγμένοι ας μας διαφωτίσουν.

Ως τελευταία λύση, θα σου πρότεινα να χρησιμοποιήσεις το crossfade plugin του xmms. Έχει δυνατότητα crossfade, fade in/out και αφαίρεσης του silence στην αρχή και το τέλος του τραγουδιού

Ελπίζω να σε βοηθήσει, αλλιώς ψάξε για εκειδικευμένες εφαρμογές που χρησιμοποιούν djs, τους οποίους αφορά άμεσα το ζήτημα
