Fieldscale is looking for a Web Developer to join our cross-functional marketing team. You will be responsible for all technical aspects of our web presence, ensuring high-performance and availability. Our audience includes engineers and decision makers working in top Automotive suppliers who shape the car of the future. As a Web Developer at Fieldscale, you will be primarily responsible for:

•Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver sleek websites and content hubs.
•Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
•Gather and refine requirements based on technical needs.
•Apply the best web development practices.
•Develop, deploy and maintain websites using WordPress.
•Creating website’s frontend using standard web technologies.
•Integrating data from various back-end services and databases.
•Integrating marketing automation software.
•Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
•Create quality mockups and prototypes.
•Being accountable for your code's quality.
•Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies about web development.

REQUIREMENTS
You must have the following:

•1+ years experience in a relevant web development role.
•Demonstrated experience in building and operating websites with WordPress.
•Solid experience with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL.
•Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
•Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
•Experience with the standard software engineering practices for the full software development cycle.
•Basic understanding of search engine optimization.
•Team player with excellent communication skills.
•Strive for continuous improvement, instead of perfection.
•Self-starter and willing to learn.
•Good command of the English language.

You get a strong plus if you have one or more of the following

•Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering.
•Basic experience with Docker.
•Basic experience with Amazon Web Services.
•Basic experience with integrating marketing automation tools.
•Basic experience with agile development methods (Scrum or Kanban).
