Θέλω να κάνω format στον υπολογιστή μου και θέλω να βάλω τους κωδικούς από το ΚΥΤΠ. Το θέμα είναι ότι δεν είμαι σίγουρος πόσες φορές το έχω χρησιμοποιήσει και σε ποιους υπολογιστές. Μπορώ να το τσεκάρω κάπως προτού αρχίσει η διαδικασία; Διάβασα κάπου ότι μπορώ να το χρησιμοποιήσω μέχρι 3 φορές, αλλά δεν είμαι σίγουρος για το αν εννοείται 3 φορές σε 3 pc ή 3 φορές στο ίδιο...

(1) Τπτ νέο για το ζήτημα? Το έχετε ψάξει υπάρχει πουθένα να το λέει στο site?
Προσωπικά έχω 2,3 used keys τα οποία μετά τα φορμάτς δεν τα ξαναχρησιμοποίησα...

(2) Επίσης το να μπορέσει κανείς να κάνει extract το in use product/activation key θα ταν ενδιαφέρον σαν ζήτημα...

f you're preparing to reinstall Windows 7 you will need to locate your unique Windows 7 product key - also known as the Windows 7 serial or Windows 7 CD key. Normally this product key is on a sticker on your computer or located with the manual that came with Windows 7.

However, if you've lost your product key, all hope is not lost - your Windows 7 key is stored in the registry but is encrypted and not readable, making finding it difficult. Luckily there are several free programs that can help.

P.S.: Πάντως υπάρχει υπηρεσία της MS στην οποία παίρνεις τηλ. και σου απελευθερώνει τους ήδη χρησιμοποιημένους κωδικούς τους οποίους δεν χρησιμοποιείς πια και έχουν τροπον τινα δεσμευτεί... το θέμα είναι αν υπάρχει επίσημη απάντηση μετά απο πόσες φορές είναι αναγκαίο κάτι τέτοιο για το ίδιο πισί?

Προσωπικά επειδή χρησιμοποιώ και Virtual Machine με αρκετά instances από την ίδια version Windows με απασχολεί το θέμα

Virtual machines are not that simple. It might be that windows 7 recognizes the motherboard as being the same, even though it's in a VM, and thus it still counts as the same computer. –  Bruce Connor Dec 15 '09 at 0:32

By definition, a VM CANNOT know what sort of machine it's running on. It may be possible to detect it IS in a VM, or at least make a good guess. –  Phoshi Dec 16 '09 at 19:50

Will I ever need to activate Windows on my computer again?

Maybe. You might have to activate Windows again if:

    You make a significant hardware change to your computer, such as upgrading the hard disk and memory at the same time. If a major hardware change requires activating Windows again, you'll be notified and will have three days to activate Windows.

    You reinstall Windows. In this case, you’ll have 30 days to activate Windows again.

If you have to activate Windows again on the same computer, you don't need to buy a new product key. For more information, see Activate Windows 7 on this computer.

Φαντάζομαι αυτό εμπεριέχει και τις student licences που μας δίνουν...

The Windows 7 license agrrement permits just one (1) installation and activation on just one (1) computer.  If you wish to install Windows 7 on a second computer, you will need to purchase a second Windows 7 license which can be conveniently acquired form the Microsoft Store.  On a computer that has no qualifying Windows operating system installed, you will need to purchase a Windows 7 "Full Version" license and not the Upgrade license.

(A) No need of a new key on the same machine


(B) Case of telephone re-activation on the same machine


(C) Windows XP licences can be installed infinite times cause MS was not prepared back then
