Παντως, περα απο την πλακα, τα 50 ευρω που κοστιζει το student pack του Office 2007 δεν ειναι δα και κανενα τρομερο ποσον. Νταξει ΟΚ micro$oft suckz και κλεφτες κλπ, αλλα μια "σουιτα εφαρμογων γραφειου" ειναι απο τα πιο κυρια λογισμικα σε καθε μηχανημα, και οποιος δεν το γυρισε σε OpenOffice τη χρησιμοποιει συνεχεια, οποτε και αντικειμενικα να το δεις δεν ειναι παραλογο το ποσον...

Σοβαρά μόνο 50 ευρώ έχει; Όντως δεν είναι πολλά για κάτι τόσο σημαντικό. Βέβαια εκτός αν θες να χρησιμοποιείς VBscripts και τρέχα γύρευε δε βλέπω το λόγο να μη βάλεις OpenOffice.

Τελικά είναι πολύ απλό: Απλά κάνεις ένα καινούργιο Wave, προσθέτεις όσους από τις επαφές σου επιθυμείς να συμμετάσχουν και όσο είσαι σε Edit Mode του συγκεκριμένου Wave, πατάς το Add Any Gadget By URL πάνω δεξιά εικονίδιο που είναι σαν κομμάτι puzzle και στο αναδυόμενο (wow ) παραθυράκι που εμφανίζεται κάνεις Paste το URL του xml αρχείου που αποτελεί τον κώδικα του Wave από το αντίστοιχο Gadgetάκι που βρήκες κάπου σε ένα από αυτά τα Links ή σε άλλα που μπορείς να βρεις.

και πάνω από 500 άτομα συμμετέχοντες... Hint: Το Wave-τόπικ είναι ανοιχτό σε όλους τους συμμετέχοντες ώστε να μπορούν και αυτοί να καλέσουν στο Wave αυτό όποιους φίλους τους θέλουν.

Άλλα gadgets που μπορεί κανείς να προσθέσει είναι διάφορα bots που κάνουν διάφορα πραγματάκια. Αυτά τα προσθέτεις προσθέτοντας στις επαφές σου στο Google Wave το αντίστοιχο email τους. Ένα από αυτά είναι για το Twitter Status (tweety-wave@appspot.com) των μελών και υπάρχει και ένα bot που λέγεται Eliza the Shrink Bot (elizarobot@appspot.com)!. Πρόσθεσα λοιπόν στις επαφές μου την Ελίζα την Ομιλητικιά (επειδή είναι ένα bot που απλά σου απαντάει κάτι, ότι και να πεις, μερικές φορές ακόμα και αν δεν πεις κάτι!!!!). Μιλάμε για τρελλό κάψιμο.

Οπότε τι πήγα και έκανα πάλι ο απερίγραπτος? Μπήκα στο ανοιχτό σε όλους παραπάνω wave (τόπικ) και πρόσθεσα με μιας (μερικά κλικ είναι, δεν πήρε πάνω από 6-7 δευτερόλεπτα) τρία σκανδαλιστικά Gadgets : Το Facebook Status, το Twitter Status και... την Ελίζα την Ομιλιτικιά (που απαντάει σε όλα!) και όλα τα άλλα Bots που είχα!!
Δεν φαντάζεστε τι επακολούθησε: Ένα απίστευτο troll - κατεβατό με: το Facebook Status από όσους από τους 500+ ήταν συνδεδεμένοι και στο Facebook εκείνη τη στιγμή συνοδευόμενο από ένα σχόλιο για το κάθε ένα από αυτό από την Ελίζα την Ομιλητικιά, και καπάκι άλλα πόσα και εγώ δεν ξέρω απανωτά Twittes Status με άλλα τόσα αυτοματοποιημένα σχόλια για κάθε διαφορετικό Twitter Status από την Ελίζα την Ομιλητικιά. Ένας καημένος φώναζε οτι η λίστα με τα μέλη είναι πάρα πολύ μεγάλη και δεν χωράνε όλα στην οθόνη του ώστε να μπορέσει να βρει την Ελίζα την Ομιλητικιά και να την πετάξει έξω από το Wave, αλλά τελικά τα κατάφεραν, αφού εντωμεταξύ προσπαθουσαν να σβήσουν και τα προσωπικά Status messages από Facebook και Twitter. Μπουρλότο κανονικά.
Ακόμα απορώ πως δε με κόψανε από το τόπικ... Μάλλον δεν κρατάνε Logs του ποιος προσθέτει ποιόν και δεν έβγαλαν άκρη... Απ' την άλλη όμως, αυτό θα πει debugging.

Status of Google Wave (σσ. = R.I.P.)

As we announced in August 2010, we are not continuing active development of Google Wave as a stand-alone product. Google Wave will be shut down in April 2012. This page details the implication of the turn down process for Google Wave.
Stage 1: Google Wave is read-only -- January 31, 2012
In this stage, you will no longer be able to create or edit waves. Marking a wave as read will also not be saved.
Robots that try to write to a wave will stop functioning.
During this time, you will continue to be able to export your waves using the existing PDF export feature. You’ll still be able to read existing waves and access the Google Wave client.
If you want to continue using Wave, there is an open source project called Walkaround that includes an experimental feature to import all your waves from Google.
Stage 2: Google Wave shut down -- April 30, 2012
In this stage, all the Google Wave servers will be shut down and you will no longer be able to get to your waves. Make sure to export any waves you want to save before that time.
