AINIGMA technologies is a Machine Learning (ML) start-up based on Belgium and Greece We bring together a team of biomedical engineers, medical doctors, and business consultants with a long track record in the development of ML solutions, mainly, but not exclusively, for biomedical applications. The team of AINIGMA has been involved in both research and commercial projects with different roles, which have given us valuable experience in the development of ML algorithms, alongside with expert consulting, cognitive knowledge, and efficient project management of large-scale European and national projects. The diverse background of the team members allows us to identify and address real-life problems from multiple perspectives and promote the exploitable results effectively in the right market direction.
Data Scientist
We are seeking for a scientist to join our team and work on medical image analysis and ML. The primary responsibilities will be to research, design, develop, and validate cutting-edge ML algorithms for medical image analysis and to apply model fusion approaches with biomedical signals for exploring latent information lying in between different biomedical modalities. The scientist will tackle exciting problems that can include topics such as uncertainty modeling, multi-object segmentation, object recognition, image registration, prognostic modeling, image quality assessment, and multi-modal image analysis along with multimodal fusion. One of the initial tasks will be the analysis of ultrasound images for extraction of different features such as muscle and bone thickness and the fusion of the extracted features with biomedical signals to predict different outcomes of interest for the patient cohort selected for a study, within an accepted EU grant, in collaboration with strong industrial and academic partners.
As part of the job offering the candidate will participate in co-authoring of scientific papers and proposals for potential future grants in the field of biomedical engineering
We are looking for a highly motivated scientist with the following profile:
- Biomedical / Computer Science / Mathematics / Physics study focus or equivalent
- PhD or MSC in one of the mentioned fields or equivalent experience of at least 2 years.
- You have excellent knowledge of image processing and machine learning, ideally you have practical experience in image processing and deep learning
- Experienced in coding in python (Matlab / C++ or other programming language are considered also as an extra)
- Fluent in English
- Good communication and writing skills
Data Engineer
We are seeking for a Data Engineer to join our team and work on data quality assessment and data harmonization. The primary responsibilities will be to research, design, develop, and validate cutting-edge machine learning algorithms for assessing data quality, predict missing values and harmonize different types of data. The engineer will tackle exciting problems that can include topics such as uncertainty modeling, multi-object segmentation, object recognition, image registration, prognostic modeling, image quality assessment, and multi-modal image analysis along with multimodal fusion. One of the initial tasks of the candidate will be the harmonization of different datasets related to Electronic Health Records (EHRs) of patients with Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA)
The core of your role will be designing, implementing, and testing data extraction and transformation tools on a micro services environment. as well as to collaborate in the development and maintenance of the main products of our company:
- Data processing pipelines
- Data model transformations
- Components of a multi-modal distributed database.
As part of the job offering the candidate will participate in co-authoring of scientific papers and proposals for potential future grants in the field of biomedical engineering
