Πολύ πωρωτική μορφή στο νορμανδικό πανθεον ο Θωρ... Συμφωνα με τους Βικινγκ αντλουσε την υπερφυσική του δύναμη απο το Σφυρί του. Γυρναγε στους ουρανους με ένα ιπτάμενο αρμα που το εσερναν τραγοι και όταν χτυπουσε το Σφυρι ο ουρανος ετριζε και ραγιζε και ειχαμε αστραπές και βροντές.Δημοφιλης ως προστατης των ανθρώπων και γιατι σε αυτών θυσιαζαν τραγους ενω για τον Οντιν έκαναν και ανθρωποθυσιες (τελετουργικα κρεμασματα).
