 MIME means Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions, and refers to an official Internet standard that specifies how messages must be formatted so that they can be exchanged between different email systems. MIME is a very flexible format, permitting one to include virtually any type of file or document in an email message. Specifically, MIME messages can contain text, images, audio, video, or other application-specific data.

     Hello fellow workers,  I recently had a few friends in town
     with a New Virus.  This is a encryption Virus.  You all may
     already know of this Virus.  I didn't!  The Virus comes in
     on your Email.  It is in what is called:  MIME FORMAT.  If
     you open your Email, It will say something like, "This is in
     MIME Format."  If you try to delete the Email, the Virus is
     activated.  All of the system files will be changed to have
     (5) zeros and then the number (2).  Reloading Windows will
     not fix the problem.  You will have to REMOVE all of Windows
     and then Load in a New Copy.  The only way we found to
     prevent this Virus was to have McAffee Virus checker.  Dr.
     Solomon and other Virus checkers could not Detect the Virus


     I thought this is an important message.  We all do a lot
     of emailing now days.

Όχι, ευτυχώς δεν είναι τίποτα τέτοιο. :) Απλά μου ήρθε μια ανακοίνωση από τη σχολή σε αυτή τη μορφή και ψάρωσα.
