Title: PhD position in wireless networks at the University of Essex, UK Post by: bit on January 26, 2017, 13:51:05 pm There is an opening for a fully funded PhD position under the supervision of Prof. Kun Yang who is the director of the Network Convergence Laboratory at the Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at the University of Essex. The PhD study will be in the area of wireless networks, including wireless network virtualization, communication and computation cooperation. The precise topic will be defined based also on the student's academic background and interest.
Students at the B.S. or M.Sc. level with background in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics are encouraged to apply. Above all, the applicants must be self‐motivated, learn quickly and work effectively on challenging research problems.
